We’re proud to announce the launch of In Home and Community Supports at The Next Step Programs – our newest service beginning in August 2025. Built on nearly a decade of trust and connection with families, this program brings our person-centered approach directly into homes and communities across Bucks County.
Whether it’s building life skills, accessing the community, or developing greater independence, our team is here to help participants live their version of a meaningful, fulfilled life. Because for us, this work has always been about more than services… it’s about people Livin’ the Dream on their own terms.

What is IHCS?
Our In Home and Community Supports program is designed to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) build independence through everyday routines and community participation. Supports include:
- Daily Living Skills – Assistance with cooking, cleaning, laundry, money management, and other daily routines that support independent living.
- Community Access & Engagement – Outings and activities that foster social connections, confidence, and participation in community life—whether it’s visiting the library, grocery shopping, or attending local events.
- Health & Wellness Routines- Support with medication reminders, hygiene, physical activity, and healthy habits.
- Social Skill Building- Helping individuals navigate relationships, communication, and self-advocacy with confidence.
- Transportation Training – Support with public transportation, paratransit, or using ride services to increase independence.
