In 2015, The Next Step Programs was founded with a simple but powerful vision: to bridge the gap between high school and adulthood for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). What started as a small initiative has grown into a thriving nonprofit, empowering individuals and families across our community with the resources, programs, and support they need to navigate adulthood successfully.

Over the past 10 years, we have:

• Served hundreds of individuals through community participation, employment services, and social programs
• Expanded our reach, opening doors to new locations and partnerships
• Created an inclusive workforce, where 20% of our employees have a disability
• Advocated for meaningful change, influencing policies and perceptions about employment, independence, and inclusion for individuals with IDD
• Built an incredible community, made up of families, supporters, and partners who believe in our mission
