Welcome to Julia’s Jam – A culinary blog!

Take The Next Step – My introduction about my life, my background, and my new culinary blog. A quick secret- my dream is to become a chef because I love to try and make quality, good healthy foods.

I am currently living my dream come true. I have five jobs now, and it is my dream to now have a new kitchen here at TNS where I can follow my heart and start the oath towards my culinary goals.

I want to run my own restaurant. It would be cool to have restaurants around the whole USA.

I love watching culinary shows. I have lots of favorites like watching legends like Gordon Ramsey, Fabio Viviani, Bobby Flay, my Mom-Mom, Rob and Teresa Shirey (my parents). I love to make food with all of them!! Cooking and culinary arts is one of my special talents.

Back to my restaurant. I love the food and restaurant business. I want to have my own Michelin Star Restaurant all round the world, and someday my current jobs will help me do this. I work at Embers. A new restaurant in Bucks County. I want to tell you a little about my work. I am a Hostess in Training. I clock in, greet and sit people down, clean the menus, and I serve the food and drinks. I get paid for this job!

I also work at another restaurant in Doylestown, PA called Villa Capri. I am also a Hostess in Training here. I clock in, sit people down, and serve drinks and food. After the, I clean the tables and I’ll fill the condiments. Sometimes they have live music and open mic nights here. Even Karaoke with Jamie Stem, a performer of Lebetters. I see him everywhere. Like at Bishop Estates.

I also work in the Office at The Next Step Programs. I work in the office as the Office Intern at TNS. It is the best place in the universe. I love working here! They have a great staff and I love this program because my dream is to make healthy foods and I want my dream to include becoming a chef. I can work on my skills and future here.

I get paid here also. My duties at work at the office is to sweep the upstairs and downstairs, take out the trash, restock the paper towels, toilet paper and refrigerators. After that, I answer the phones, dust the windows and doors inside and outside, and I vacuum the floors. My favorite thing about TNS is that I am a social butterfly. I love meeting new people and I really love my life, and my friends and my family. They help me become a good young adult who is independent. I love to be a good person and love others.

I also work at Bake Ability in Buckingham, PA. I clock in, get my apron and name tag on, greet the customers because I love to be social, focus on counting the money. I clean the dishes, and I LOVE baking and cooking because my ultimate goal is to be a culinary chef. I also get paid to work here.

In the future, I will write more about my jobs, and my culinary adventures! Thanks for reading!!
